Authors additional comment on “My Little Inspired Book”

  1. 1st update to book 2017
After I released the above little book to just a few people that are close to me, I realized that none of them, while giving me comments made any mention of one fact that I believe was one of the main points God wanted me to get out there. That point was very early in the book when I said, “Did you know that each and every person has a little part of them that make up the complete Jesus Christ? Whatever YOU want to call it– your soul, your mind, your inner self, your being created in the image of God, or your Heart; but everyone’s part and God the Father’s part and God the Holy Spirit’s part make up the total of Jesus the Son of God! I’m not saying that God lives in us. HE DOES, but not just because he wants to. He lives in US because WE, meaning All people, plus God the Father and Holy Spirit make the God/Person of The Son! He does make us complete, we also help make Him complete! Where it says we are one with God in the bible, it truly means we are one with the Son who, in his completeness, is one with The Father and The Spirit. If we can get this point then it changes everything! We are there at Christ’s crucifixion, we are at his resurrection, we have the power of creating Divine Mercy, but we MUST CHOOSE to do so! We must say, Dear Lord please use our pain, suffering, actions, gifts, and whatever else to create Your great mercy and use it the way the Spirit sees fit. The way I see it, the Son is the Faith and Actions of God, while The Father is the power, and The Spirit is the Wisdom of God and the three are one complete God.

MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD March of 2017
One of the beliefs of most, if not all, Christian faiths is that we are made in the image of God. Have you ever stopped and asked yourself, ” What Does That Mean?” When we were little, we might have thought it meant that God had two legs, two arms, a head, and a body. We now know that just doesn’t make sense. Why? It would be to limiting and not all humans have all of those things so I guess that they aren’t made in God’s Image? Nonsense, that is not the right answer! Is it because we can think? Computers can do that now days. Is it because we FEEL? Feelings and emotions are neither always right nor wrong, so would not that mean God is not always right? I don’t think that is it. SO what is it? Is it that we have a soul? Define what is a soul and how does it affect us? I am sure everybody will agree on that one! I will throw one out there, could it be that we were created with a free will, freedom of choice? What do you think of that one? You do know that if you have a choice you also have a responsibility to use that choice for God’s will!!!!! If you don’t agree with those statements, then give me a better idea and explain why it is better.
Free will or freedom of choice, how does this make us in the image of God? Can God choose whatever he wants? He has the power of creation therefore giving him a choice of using creation in any way he chooses. THAT’S FREE WILL! What if the power that makes the trinity work is THE FREEDOM TO CHOOSE? They choose to be One God With Three Persons. As part of being made in the image of God we have the power to choose to be part of that trinity! This would work for us to become saints if we choose to do it with divine justice or divine mercy, it just doesn’t matter, WE STILL CHOOSE!

September 26th, 2017 Success Principles

It has come to my attention that in my mission statement, it says,” I am on this Earth to learn, apply, and experience the benefits of God’s success principles: As I learn, apply, and enjoy them, I am to teach others. I will do this though a process of duplication, education, and prayers.” As you read that, you would think that I would have listed at least some of the success principles that I have learned. Well that is the reason for this post; I am going to list many of them, along with a list I got out of a book that I don’t have and cannot seem to find. I do believe the author’s first name was Mike. I started with them after reading his book. They made sense so I went to someplace that had a copier and copied them for my own personal use, then probably gave the book to someone to help them. When you read this, you will know which ones are his; I give him the credit. Please feel free to post questions on the Blog and tell me if it is okay to make them public or not, your email address will not be shown. The list as I have them written is as follows:
Success Principles

1) You must know your meaning of love and it must stand up to any test.
A) Love Is a CHOICE! Only definition that I ever found that works.
B) Tuff Love – You must be able to hand it out and receive it graciously.
2) You must understand what an emotion is and how it is to be used by us.
A) An Emotion is the some total of what the brain believes to be your decisions in similar situations.
B) This can be over ridden by a conscious decision by you at any time.
C) You can also by choice and discipline set points where the sum total starts anew.
3) You must be able to master the art of delayed gratification
4) Envision what you want.
5) You know what you are rooted in and it is changed only after great deliberation.
6) To get out of debt you write down all your loans and debts using column headed Date started, Payment, balance, payments left, Then total up all the payments. This gives you your total payment due per month. Then you analyze so that you choose the one you can pay off the fastest. You pay the lowest possible on the others to get as much on that one as you can. When you get that one paid off you don’t lower the monthly payment but you put that loans payment plus the minimum that you were paying on the next fastest loan on this loan. This money is now called your power account. And you keep doing this till you power your way out of debt. Don’t add debt practice delayed gratification.
7) Honest Prayer works
A) Done for a specific thing at a specific time, it may not work. It can in some cases.
B) Prayer often for long term desires or maybe I should say needs, works. It might not work the way you thought it would but if you stay open to the leading or nudging of God you will be amazed by who or what he places in your path that allows you to achieve your wants and needs.
8) You must have a decision making process. This process needs to be linked to your values and mission statement. Doing this will do two things. 1) let you see easier when Satan is trying to lead you astray. 2) Will allow you to realize that you may need to alter your mission statement.
9) Vote, for your Freedom & responsibilities depend on it. The larger the government, or its power, the less freedom you will have.
10) You ALWAYS have a free will. You may choose not to use it, but you always have it.
11) You cannot change a person’s mind, only his action, and that takes consequences.
12) Never be upset by others success this means you can also achieve your success.
13) There is a fine line between great confidence and cockiness. The difference is in the reasoning
14) Satan doesn’t have the power to create, but he does have the power to deceive, and is very good at that.
15) You must know your Circle
16) Use delayed gratification till you save enough to live your lifestyle for six months without income. If you ever dip into this fund Lower your lifestyle imminently!
17) You MUST know the WHY, not just the what.
18) Evil is the absence of God. A) This does not exist on earth. B) What is called evil is movement toward less of God.
19) Divine Justice = God Justice is fair (not equal). You choose not to do his will you must suffer the consequences. This is his original covenant with Adam Good verses the unknown. This is freedom of choice but not Free Will. Free will came with Original Sin and Divine Mercy.
20) Divine Mercy is a deeper level of Love than divine justice. Divine Mercy gives us true free will AND Responsibilities as we are part of the Eucharistic Offering. We are Jesus hanging on the Cross if we choose to be. Divine Mercy is only created when we (each one of us) choose to freely offer ourselves to God and his heavenly team. See my paper “Divine Mercy vs. Divine Justice”
21) You must ask for and accept Divine Mercy. God gives it freely if you or someone asks for you to receive it. You must have faith or believe in it before you can recognizes it and accept it’s true works of mercy. Devine Justice is the base used till mercy is asked for.
22) Love and Hate are the same emotion. The difference is the WHY!
23) The opposite of love is being used by.
24) If God is asking you to do something, Start it as soon as possible and complete it in a timely fashion.
25) Be in fellowships that will challenge and support what God wants of You.
The following is from a book I cannot find any more that I said these are a great way to start because they are already done so I used them. I say thanks to Mike the books author for that. I wish I could find the book to give you the full credit due you.

The book(by Mike)Did a Good job of explaining the principles in his list. In my list you can blog me and I will do my best in time to explain it better. As an example, I will use number 15, “You must know your circle”. Just reading that one it makes no sense at all but my kids know exactly what at least part of it means. One of my children for a while LOVED the Zorro films and that is what God used to enlighten me on this one. In one of the films the old Zorro was training the young one, and they met in an abandoned building or mine and the old Zorro had painted circles each one bigger than the previous one. He told the young Zorro to stand in the middle of the smallest one. The young Zorro asked, “What is this about?” He answered, “ You must know your circles!” I took it to mean that the smaller the circle the better and in more detail you must know all the details. This would include physical things for safety and escape, with other areas being like emotional, spiritual, deception, honor, financial, social, truthfulness, and many many more. I really put this to use as I was trying to teach some sports ideas. Imagine yourself on the basketball court as the point guard bringing the ball down the court. You need to know who and where everybody is that is close to you so you know where to move and how to get past them, your innermost circle. You also must have an idea of who is doing what in about the next 20 feet or so away so you can see when they are setting you up for a trap or baiting you to make a bad pass that lets them trap that person or steal the ball. But you also have to know where everybody is on the whole court so that you see your teammate that slips away without being noticed and has a free path for a simple lay-up or is free right under the basket. You can see it is most important that you take care of the ball and don’t lose it. The smallest circle. The best way to do that is to know the next circle so you know where to go or pass the ball. If you don’t have the biggest circle you miss those quick easy great plays that can turn a game in your favor fast. ”Know Your Circle” probably makes a lot more sense now.

Jan.16,2018 Thoughts On Love

The following was something I wrote for a different project but after it did not get selected I decided it would fit well here as well.

THOUGHTS ON LOVE
If you say I love you! Everybody knows what you mean, right. Just ask your spouse, your child, your friend, your enemy. They all define love exactly the same right? People say that, their different answers can be explained because there are different types and actions of love, romantic, family, friendship, and God’s love. If this is true, we should NEVER say just, I love you. We should say instead I love you as family, or I love you romantically, or I love you as a friend, or I love you as a brother or sister in Christ. If you agree that there are different meanings to love and you say just, I love you, the person you say that to could misinterpret that very easily. That misunderstanding could then change the future to be something a lot better or a lot worse than you can even imagine. In the bible story “The Tower of Babel” God said, Let us confuse their language, so that one will not understand what the other says. Could he have just taken away the clear meaning of love, and the future changed forever? So when I take my spouse’s hands,— Go ahead and take their hands now — and look them in the eye and say I LOVE YOU! Say it with all the meaning you can muster. Does your spouse really know what you mean?? Is it romantic love, God’s love, Family Love, Or something totally different? Maybe the meaning of saying that little four letter word LOVE, we mean that I will choose, and the act of choosing is the key part, I will choose to do what will make you truly a part of the Son of God here on earth? By taking that simple definition of “CHOOSEING to do what will make you truly a part of the Son of God here on earth,” Can you think of a single situation that you would not act as if God himself were choosing how to treat The one you Love? We all know that we are human; therefore we will fail to truly be God for those we love at ALL times, but we must try. Can you also see the great responsibility we have taken on when we say, I DO in the sacrament of marriage? We truly do what the theology of the body says, We make visible for all, that that is invisible the love of the trinity and the true meaning of the Eucharistic sacrifice! Let me say that again: . Can you see the great responsibility we have taken on when we say, I DO in the sacrament of marriage? We truly do what the theology of the body says, We make visible for all, that that is invisible the love of the trinity and the true meaning of the Eucharistic sacrifice!

Dec. 27,2018 Truth What Is It?

Truth what is it?

Everybody knows what is true and what is not, RIGHT?  Why do so many people disagree on so many things? I mean facts are facts, aren’t they? I know what I believe to be true. If I believe it to be true and there are pictures, or studies, or the news says it is, or it’s on face book, then it must be true. Maybe better yet, if the church or the government says it is true, it just has to be true, right? How do we know it is true? There is only ONE truth that is true!

Just because I or you believe it to be true does NOT MAKE IT TRUE. Just because we want to believe it doesn’t make it so. Believing something because it allows us to act a certain way and have it be okay, doesn’t mean it is right or true. Truth is not what justifies my life or yours. The truth is the truth.

If we look up true on dictionary.com we get: 1) being in accordance with the actual state or conditions, conforming to reality or fact; not false. 2) Real; genuine; authentic: 3) sincere; not deceitful. If these definitions are correct, how do we get reports or studies that seem to contradict each other? Why can’t we prove this or that to be true due to facts? Instead, we get contradictions for the same question. What are we missing?

I am going to use a story I saw on face book with a minor change and see if it works like a parable:

The question was asked, ”How do you catch wild pigs?” It turns out it is fairly easy if you know their approximate location. You start out by putting corn in the same place every day for them to eat. The pigs find the easy food and enjoy it and learn to expect it. They come back every day to the same spot and enjoy their new life of luxury. After they are accustomed to this, you erect a fence on one side of the corn. The pigs will figure out that the fence is not a big deal and will keep coming for their treasure of food, Then you put a fence on the opposite side of the corn. If the Pigs need to go around it to get the corn, they will do that without fear or caution very quickly. Then you connect the two fence section on one end with a third section of fence. Again the pigs think no harm on foul and find the open end and enjoy the free corn. When the pigs are comfortable with that, you build the fourth section of fence making a pen but you put an open gate in it. The wild pigs, seeing this as all the other sections of fence, don’t fear it and find the open gate and feast on the corn. Now the only thing left for you to do is hide close by till all the pigs are in the pen then go shut the gate! You now have caught the wild pigs!

Now what does that have to do with truth or what is true? Is the corn good, bad, true, false, or something else? What about the fence? What do the pigs represent? The fence builder? Is there anything else that should be considered in this story to complete its connection to be true or truth? Stop here and think this though for a while. You could even write down how you interpreted it. It might come in handy for later reflection.

Is the corn good, bad, true, false, or something else? Corn is food. It nourishes the body – that is good, right? Is the corn bait? That would be bad, right? If the corn is what it appears to be, it would be true. If it is not what it appears to be, it would be false.

The fence is used for many years as a means to keep something inside or outside or both. It could be good or bad or both! What is its importance in the story? Hint: think method.

The wild pigs are who or what? I am going to leave this one wide open because everyone is at a little different place in life and it could be many people or things depending where you are at right now.

How many of you forgot about the fence builder until I asked the question above?  Is not he a critical part of the story? What is his role? Could it be that he controls what this parable is about and therefore controls other parts in the parable as to how true or false they are? At this point, can we tell what is true or false? Why or why not? Are there other things that need to be considered in the story? What?

On face book this was a political statement with the pigs being the people. The corn is the free stuff from the government. The fence represents the controls that government puts on the people that they don’t like and would not accept if they saw the completed plan. The gate is the final piece that takes away our freedom. The fence builder is the institution of government.

You could look at it as the fence builder is the power of evil or the culture of death. The pigs are we the people. And it shows how we are trapped into thinking one way only.

What if we think of it as the pigs are false things in our lives? The corn is who/what/or the why we believe these false things. The entity that supplies the corn is source of the false things. This entity could be our friends, government, our education or lack thereof, our church, the news, our own interpretations of what God was trying to tell us, or many other sources. The fence represents the prophets and good people following God’s plan. And the fence builder is our heavenly father.

If you buy into this last interprettion of the parable, then you can see what is missing, as I asked way back at the end of the third paragraph, is the will of the creator our Heavenly Father.  A better definition of truth or what is true is: That that is in accordance to God’s will and purpose.

Our Heavenly Father always allowing free will tries to give us his will and guidance, but we only see or understand if we are in relationship with him; or someone is praying (in relationship) that he shows us his mercy and allows us to experience his love for us. So now the question is: how do we know God’s will and purpose for us? I don’t think any human knows this complete answer,  but this list below, that I felt inspired to write but didn’t know what to do with at the time, seems to be a good starting point. As you can see, I talked about many of these points other places in this web page. Feel free to go back and review any part you want.

There are several things every true believer MUST know to see the truth and know his God. They are:

Started 9-29-2017

  • I am made in the image of God and what that means exactly.
  • What the meaning of love is and how to defend it against attacks.
  • What an emotion or feeling is and how God intended us to use them to unite us and Him.
  • You MUST be willing to let go of what you believe so that God can inform you with what is true.
  • You must ask God to help you see and live the truth as he reveals it to you.
  • You must know that Satan and his helpers are very good at making you think you know what God is telling you as truth when it is NOT.
  • There are people that appear to be holy and teaching God’s truth that are not. (They believe they are many times).
  • Each time you practice to moving yourself toward your union with the Son, you are choosing to be more united with God and becoming the one you are meant to be. By doing this you are moving all of mankind closer to being one with the Son.
  • You must choose to enter into the kinship of God though the Son!

Some of you will understand and have mastered everything in this list, others will think they have. Still others will have no idea what this list is trying to enlighten them about. Then there are those that find themselves somewhere in-between. No matter where you find yourself, God wants to be in communion with you!

March 30,2019 You Must Ask And Accept Mercy

The other day I was talking to someone and they asked me if God’s love and his divine mercy end up in the same place? When I first heard this I was a little confused by the question. I think what he was trying to say is that God loves us so much that he will automatically save us. Beyond that I think, perhaps, that he was asking me if divine mercy meant the same thing as God’s love? We continued on with a nice conversation that I believe may have challenged us both to grow a little in our spiritual education, which is awesome.

Several days later I was reading from a book that has many of St. Faustina’s Diary entries in it. One of these entries #1146 says: “Souls that make an appeal to My mercy delight Me. To such souls I grant even more graces than they ask. I cannot punish even the greatest sinner if he makes an appeal to My compassion, but on the contrary, I justify him in My unfathomable and inscrutable mercy. … Before I come as a just Judge, I first open wide the door of My mercy. He who refuses to pass through the door of My mercy must pass through the door of My justice.” WOW! that entry says a lot about His mercy! As I looked back at our conversation what started to go though my mind was: You can’t just expect God to save you whether it be by faith or deeds, YOU have to ask him! Now you might ask if this is what you have said elsewhere in this web page? I will answer that with a resounding yes! Let us explore that a little. What did I say about being made in God’s image? Did I not say our free will is how that was accomplished? Think about this, if God made us higher than even the angels, and it is because of this free will to choose to love him; would he break that trust and force us to live eternity with him? NO, we must want to do that! We must be justified or cleansed of at least original sin, as well as of any others we may have committed in order to live with him for eternity. There are two ways to achieve this: Divine Justice or Divine Mercy. We get to choose! Now, Divine Mercy is created every time we take part in the Eucharistic Sacrifice. I don’t know if when we choose to walk through the door of Divine Mercy, we must actively choose to take some time on the cross or not, but if we have faith that God will not abandon us, and we can help save the world, are we able to choose that? What is the result of his Divine Justice? The first key to his mercy is to ASK FOR IT!

I have come to realize that there is a second part to his Divine Mercy:  that is that you must also accept it. I am not as good at doing this part as I am with asking for it. That being said, I am having a harder time trying to explain it and make it understandable. So here goes my first attempt.  When you ask God for his mercy, you allow him to present you with his gift. You might think of it like someone offering, giving, or presenting you with a birthday or Christmas gift. This gift might be wrapped in beautiful wrapping paper or just a plain bag, or even no wrapping at all, but it is presented to YOU! When this presentation happens you have several choices:   1) accept it, 2) reject it, 3 ignore it. Let us look at these:

  1. Accept It – You take the gift and wear, use, appreciate, share, or take some action regarding it. The action you take now becomes in some way a part of who or what YOU are. It is always there. You may not recall it down the passage of time but it helped form you in some way which changed the exact path in life you walk today. When you accept God’s mercy the same thing happens for you!
  2. Reject it – You make a statement about the gift or the giver, and, almost always, someone is hurt by the action. More often than not, ALL parties involved are hurt! Jesus hurts and he says, “I Thirst,” because he wants you to join him and make him whole for eternity. You hurt because you are separated from the love of Jesus which is our true joy. Everybody around you hurts because they miss the joy that could have been when anyone comes closer to Jesus.
  3. Ignore it – If it is never acted on in any way, then nobody knows. Very little good or bad comes of it. It just is. Our lives don’t get changed.  Nobody gains from the good you might have received. Likewise God isn’t allowed to affect your life. It is like running a race, and you come within feet of the finish line, but you never cross it because you didn’t see it. OH WHAT A SHAME!

I don’t know how you accept it, but I do know you acknowledging it is part of what YOU MUST DO! Oh, dear Jesus, help me always acknowledge you and your mercy and fully accept you into my heart.

Humility June 12 2019

When you think of being humble as far as God is concerned, what does it mean? I have been told you don’t brag about yourself. That has some truth to it. I think if God gave you the cure for let’s say cancer. He would want you to stand up proudly and announce it to the world, not keep it to yourself! Announcing it to the world is a form of bragging. Granted it, in this case it is a good thing but it is bragging, is it not? I think when you say someone has humility or is humble there is something deeper. At the time of this writing I am really working on being more humble. God had let me have graces that allowed me to realize when he brought me into a situation and he used me for his glory to be accomplished I would tell my story as I did this or that. St Faustina’s diary, if I remember right, said something like: “A humble heart is needed for God to reward you with many graces”. I could be wrong on the last part of that statement, but I think the gist of it is correct. With prayer and reading, I believe God has revealed that a better meaning would be: That we acknowledge God as the source of all we do. Example: “I saved this young lady from committing suicide”, should have been told as, “God used me as his tool to save this young lady from committing suicide”. Do you see the difference of the two definitions of humility is simply, One, I don’t brag about myself, the other I give God the credit for what got done by following what God wants me to do?

The next thing we should look at is, why does God need a humble heart for God to give us MANY graces? Remember that we are made in God’s image, freedom of choice. We are to love, choose, God. Let us use a work-related comparison here: If Joe who works under you and is doing his job, comes up to you and says, “If we run a hose from tank A to right beside me we could fill the container there and solve our melt down issue.” You think about it and believe it would work. So you go to your higher-ups and pitch the idea as your own. Are you doing it for your gain? For Joe’s gain? For the company gain? For the end user’s gain? Why does God require a humble heart to give us many graces?

Something I sent to a loved one June 12,2019

The following is something I sent to someone I love:

I have been getting a sense that you have been searching for entering the next life answers. I could be way off with that and if I am, just ignore this. In my online book, I talk about Divine Justice and Divine Mercy. It is my belief that by our creation God will judge us with Divine Justice unless we ask to receive his unlimited Divine Mercy. Divine Justice is why our fore fathers feared God. It is harsh, and let us face it, we probably deserve it. I don’t know where but I believe the Bible says something like, “The price of sin is death”. Divine Mercy is NOT automatic. We must first ask for it. Because of our free will God will not force it on us. God can give us this mercy if others are asking him to do so for us, (prayer), but he will never just give it without permission! That would destroy Divine Justice, the base. Divine Mercy is best explained as Fr. Chris described it. God judges us, finds we have sinned, and sentences us to death. At that moment Jesus appears at our side and says to his father, “I accept this soul’s sentence and will pay the price for it.” This is true mercy because no human soul deserves this. Now at this point we have to make a choice (free will). We can accept or reject this offer from Jesus. If we reject it, our soul is separated from the trinity and may die. If we accept it, our soul will live forever with the trinity, but we must trust Jesus completely as we will suffer some as we partake part of our Lord’s passion as we are transformed into our heavenly state. This process is happening our whole life but is like an instant for God.

There is another part, as we become aware of the above process we must show mercy to others to help us imitate Jesus on earth. This shows Jesus our act of contrition.

In summary it is like ABC, A) Ask for God’s mercy. B) Be merciful to others, C) Completely trust and accept God’s mercy. I hope this is helpful.

6-22-2019 When You Say LOVE

Recently reading an article that someone suggested as a good read on Facebook I realized that most people get different pictures, ideas, thoughts, etc., when someone uses the word LOVE. Have you ever stopped to think about this? “God is Love” is used regularly by priests and others alike. But what does that tell you? I am probably going to draw from my internal wisdom and Fr. Gaitley’s book “The One Thing is Three” to try and explain this. When someone says, “God is Love,” you must have an understanding of at least one of the words God or Love. Have you ever tried to explain to someone who is searching for the answer to the question is God real or not? If you try to tell him what God is like for him, or what God is, or how you see God, he might have a ton of rebuttals for you.  In Gaitley’s book there is a section on the, Culture of Death, and in that section, a reporter is interviewing The Culture of Death (C of D) and says he is going to ask about the big questions. C of D stops him and says something like, “I can’t answer such questions. See you want TRUTH, but I say there is no truth or at least not OBJECTIVE TRUTH. He goes on to say that if you can get people to accept THEIR TRUTH (Relative Truth), than they can use it to justify their wants, which in turn enslaves them.” I’ll try to explain what I mean by relative truth: God wants me to be happy and for me to make others happy. Being a playboy, as they say, makes me happy, and the girls seem to be happy too, so God loves what I am doing and it must be good. Some people see the fallacy in this, while others say that sounds right.  THIS WORKS THIS WAY FOR SOOOOO MANY OF OUR ACTIONS. Do you use relative truth or objective truth? Do you know the difference?

God is Love – am I any closer to knowing what that means? I can use that for justifying my being kind to people or when I yell at them because I am correcting them so they learn what I think God wants them to know or do. Now if you remember in “My Little Inspired Book,” I wrote about how emotions or feelings work, you will see how doing this can also lead to you enslaving yourself to something against God’s will. If you tell yourself that is good often enough, it will become truth to you.

What Is God? Some people see him as this all powerful God that can do all things and does, while others say he can’t be because he doesn’t stop some mass shootings or earthquakes or other wrongs in the world. Others see him as a personal God, like a Grandpa God, that gives you everything you want, because he just wants us to be happy. Some see God as an big old Ogre God, Just a mean old God that is just ready to punish people for the smallest sin. They think you must earn his love by doing it according to the book. Then there are those that think as long as I go to church and treat others as I should, I am fine and will go to heaven.

Well, as you can see by now, we all know perfectly what others are thinking when we use the word GOD!           Do you want to go through the same thing for LOVE? Try to explain love to a teenager that had one parent reject them by just leaving one day and never coming back. While trying to deal with that the other parent throws them out and says, “I don’t love you”. If You are honest with yourself you can go through a whole list like above so I will not do that here. So now where does that leave us? Well I have to admit that I don’t have a way to define or explain GOD that doesn’t limit God to something less than what He is. Love, on the other hand, we have a better shot at. Love is of God and is only a part of God. God can create while Love can only create when it is in union with God. Explaining that last statement will take another paper to explain, so for now, just go with it as if were the truth and pray about it until God allows you to understand it or accept it. God so loved us that he created us in his image! What does being created in his image mean? In my book and following post, I explained that it has to do with free will (choice). The best definition I have for Love is choice or free will. This allows us to ASK FOR MERCY. This is one of the things the angels marvel at about humans. So God is Choice or Free Will which he is, but he is much more than that. Love is so great because when we fail, and we have or will, we can ask for forgiveness or mercy and still gain perfect union with our God when we enter his kingdom

Inner Peace That the Bible Talks About – What Is It?

Inner peace is, when what you believe is right with your thoughts (knowledge), wisdom given to you by God, emotions, and faith are in alignment. A lot of people think it has to do with happiness or joy. They can be a result of inner peace. Inner peace is not an emotion or even a feeling; it just is or is not. Inner peace is not even good or bad. With that being said, it can’t be in an undecided state. You can have inner peace in one little section of your life and not in the rest of your life, but it is not the same because you know deep down if you really look at it, that area might have to change if that area doesn’t line up with the rest of your life. That knowledge alone can destroy the peace.

Let’s look at each piece of what I really said in that first statement.  The part that states, when what you believe is right with your thoughts (knowledge), what does that mean? When someone believes something, it is usually because they have been told it is, they thought about it and chose it, they think they saw it, or it justifies some other part of their life or thought process.  An example would be if you had one apple, a friend gave you one apple, and your Mom gave you one apple, you have 3 apples, correct? Well, that is what you have been told in school, you can see them, you can count them and reason it out, so it must be right. In most of the world you would be correct, and have inner peace about that because we use a base 10 system. But, now for the sake of example, we say God would use a base 2 system, you would get a different number (2 digits, I believe.) I don’t remember my math classes well enough to say what it would be or to explain base 2 so you can understand it but I think 3 in base 2 would be written as 11 but not sure. The point is all of our beliefs or knowledge has a set of parameters that make it true for us. If you change the parameters, you must change the beliefs or knowledge that you have. If you can accept that fact then when you read Isaiah 55:8 in the Bible, “’For my thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,’ declares the LORD”, you would have to say our beliefs could be wrong if the standards are God’s standards.

Now that brings us to the wisdom part which is knowledge given to you by God. When we talk about wisdom we must be careful not to confuse knowledge given to you by God (wisdom) and knowledge given to you ABOUT God by MAN. Distinguishing between the two can be difficult to do. This is because you can have what man thinks come down as church teachings and you can have what God has enlightened to man come down as church teachings.  You can also possibly have man’s misinterpretations and misuse of church teachings. Now add to that an individual’s enlightenment by God and an individual’s misinterpretations and misuse effects and you have a lot to consider to understand what is God’s knowledge, which is wisdom. Because I am writing this article, you must consider where I fall in that list. I believe it to be enlightened, but I am human. Back to the point of inner peace, I think you can see that if your belief or knowledge is NOT in agreement of what God has enlightened you with, then inner peace will not be there.

Emotions are next so let us cover that here. What is the definition of an emotion? An emotion is the brain’s automatic summary of your decisions in similar situations. If you remember the above two paragraphs, you see that they will align UNLESS you have trained your brain to decide things with the circular action of using your emotions as your main decision-making process. Why do I say circular action? If you go back to the definition above of emotion, you will see that you decide a fact then it is logged into your brain’s memory. Next time you make a similar decision it records the pattern. Now you start to decide using those emotions or feelings and recording the pattern continues as do the decisions. But remember they were similar situations because rarely do identical situation occur. So how does this explain the circular action of deciding with your emotions? Well remember the pencil story in CHAPTER 4 HOW WE HAVE FAILED AS POEPLE, AS GOVERNMENT, AS CHURCH on my web page https://www.inspiredthoughtsplus.com/. That is how! If this describes you, your peace will be shattered as you don’t understand that what you want to believe and what you know from other sources (wisdom, your knowledge, or true facts.) don’t align with each other.

Now where does faith come into this inner peace? I believe by faith that we are created with a yearning to belong to our Creator. I cannot prove or disprove that in any way. It is Faith. I also believe the person of Jesus Christ won, gave us, or showed us a way to have salvation, even if we have not lived a sinless life by faith. Some people say they can prove this with the Bible. If that is true, then you have faith that the Bible is true. I think you can see that if you have faith in something that your knowledge, wisdom, or emotions disagree with, how can you have this precious inner peace?

As a conclusion, you should know inner peace is possible in times of great challenge as well as where you can get God’s inspiration. Remember inner peace is achieved when what you believe is right with your thoughts (knowledge), emotions, wisdom, given to you by God, and faith are all aligned.

The purpose of Church

This topic has come to light for me with what I have seen happen in my church over the last five to ten years. It could be happening in any church at this time or happen anytime in the past or future. In its basic form, I would have to describe it as a movement or trend that the church (or rather people that have some degree of control in the Church) see the rules of or doctrine of the church as the way to salvation. If this is a true statement, many issues are going to come up. It is well-documented that the only way to salvation is God. Some people would even say only part of God- the Jesus part- is the only way to salvation. Let us together open our minds as to what this looks like and how it is carries out in real world actions.

First off, you will see a push that the worship services will need to be done in a certain way or format that is slightly different than what has been the norm for your church or area. This might manifest itself in calls to a more reverent communion celebration, more limitations on who can do what, or how long or from where something can be done. These people, priests, or ministers will give a reason for the change that sounds okay or logical. They may even use church documents or other parts of the service to help justify their wishes. Usually these are older in time frame, but not always. Then things will progress to the point that they are using guilt and peer pressure to get you to accept or act in a certain manner. Examples of this might be that you really need to receive communion in a kneeling position or on the tongue, which means we need to add or remodel so we can have a communion railing, while the real reason is to separate the parts of the church so as to slow the access of the people for their own reasons. Don’t get me wrong – they will give you different reasons for it. Who knows what those reasons might be as long as it gives them what they want.

You might also notice a larger than normal emphasis on confession. You see, they see the congregation as sinners first that need help. (I think this is what they see as part of their value in life). What they fail to realize is that we were made in God’s image which means we were created good. True our sins have not helped us, but we NEED free will to accept God. That is part of our salvation. They say do as I or we say, and you will have these results. That might work for a few people because of the choices they make, but will fail for many because of their free will choices. If you manipulate people’s responses you have corrupted their free will choices. God does not want this!

    In the Catholic Church you will see a lot of this coming from people and priests that buy into the Radical Traditionalist Movement (Rad Trad). Some of the beliefs that have been identified by others are;

  1. They believe the Vatican II documents are bad for the church and need change or thrown out completely.
  2. Man is bad and needs the church to be saved.
  3. The Church is corrupt.
  4. Canon Law is primary over scripture.
  5. Communion in the hand is bad.
  6. They disrespect current papal authority.
  7. They reduce the positive goodness of sexuality to nothingness.
  8. Some go so far as to say judgment is primary over mercy.
  9. The church is primary in salvation.
  10. Their view of Mary changes to more of a prophet than our heavenly mother.

If you start to see signs of these types of things, realize you are probably dealing with a RAD TRAD person and they will cause problems in your assembly. Some of the problems will manifest itself as: division, confusion on teachings of the church (their way is right period), people leaving, guilt feeling within people, a growth of pride among the leaders and the sheep that follow blindly, more sins becoming mortal, and the list just keeps going till you have people using other people for whatever purpose they deem fit.     I wish I could say, if we do this, you can stop them in their tracks, but I don’t have a magic solution. We do have to confront and try to educate them by being led by the Spirit which means we MUST be in a personal relationship with the Spirit so he/she can lead us as to what we say and do.
